The Aliphia products are paraben-free!

Due to the toxic potential of the parabens, our researchers have decided to give up using them. Even if the toxic effect of parabens has not been demonstrated yet, the simple supposition regarding their toxicity has determined us to give up using them.

Parabens have a chemical structure similar to the estrogen hormones and they may compete for certain receptors. Thus they can produce certain dysfunctionalities in the hormonal metabolism and implicitly they may determine certain hormonal disturbances.

No aluminium derivatives!

The Aliphia products do not contain aluminium derivatives!

The toxic potential of aluminium has been discussed for a long period of time but very many cosmetic products continue to contain aluminium derivatives. In multiple cases, it was confirmed that aluminium and its derivatives have neurotoxic and nephrotoxic potential, through accumulation, becoming potential cofactors in triggering cerebral and/or kidney diseases.

Even if these toxicities have not been fully demonstrated or explained, we have preferred to keep all the Aliphia products without aluminium derivatives!
