Exhelios SRL is a company specialised in the research of plants and extracts of plants which belong to the Romanian flora. It is not at all surprizing that our company has its office in Timișoara, the first product manufactured by our company was the Boicil Forte ointment, a well known antirheumatic ointment, its name being linked to the name of the physician dr. Boici Vasile, who was from Timișoara and who had the idea to use hellebore extracts for human treatment.

The company was founded in 1991, by the chemists which studied the composition of the hellebore extract which underlay the Boicil Forte vials. They have provided scientific arguments supporting this extract, they analysed it and standardized it, and then they also developed the formula of preparing the Boicil ointment. The study of hellebore was only the beginning, numerous other plants and plant extracts followed: chestnut, evening primrose, marigold, chamomile, common comfrey, etc.

The company’s profile remains the one defined in the beginning: using the flora in our country in order to sustain the general health of people, permanently extending the range of original products, by employing the herbal treasure of nature, that is so plentiful. The stable presence of more than two decades of the Exhelios brand is the reflection of the quality and efficiency of our products.

Aliphia® - an Exhelios® brand

Starting in 2013, the trade image of the Exhelios company has been known under the name Aliphia. It is a short, easy to remember name, easy to understand, that defines extremely well what we are doing. Following the change of these image, all the products have new packages, more friendly, more rich in colour, easier to recognise, and the information is more easy to find and read.

The process through which we adopt a new image is a consequence of the progress of the Exhelios company. We present to you the same high quality and high efficiency products, defined under the Aliphia brand.

The main Aliphia product is the Dr. Boici Cream, an improved version of the first product manufactured by the company, Boicil Forte, the well known antirheumatic ointment, linked to the name of the Timișoara-based physician, dr. Boici Vasile.

The Aliphia products are meant for a wide range of uses in: rheumatism, strains, sprains, muscle fatigue, varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, wounds, burns, haemorrhoids, herpes, lip protection, acne, etc.

The certification of the majority of our products with patents reflects the value, uniqueness and efficiency of these products.
